As a Sioux Falls Family Photographer - spending time with my own family is a priority. A few months back, for a birthday celebration, we had Luca Papini of Go To Italy come and create a beautiful Italian meal that we all enjoyed. One thing Luca mentioned during our evening was how in Italy, food is an experience, a chance to enjoy something wonderful together; and our experience was amazing!
My parents met Luca through one of his amazing cooking classes through the Sioux Falls School Districs Community Education programs, and I knew immediately that I wanted to photograph one of his classes (and of course learn how to make another wonderful Italian meal!). Students attend Luca's classes because they truly enjoy his personality and teaching style, the class was full of laughs and questions always with thoughtful answers. During our class we watched and learned as Luca made three items, which you will see throughout this blog. First was Pasta Quattro Formaggi - some might compare it to Alfredo, but in Italy Alfredo only exists as the name of an Uncle ;) - next Pasta con le Zucchine e Gamberetti - and lastly a wonderful desert made with fresh oranges and parmesan cheese! Yum Yum - Now I'm hungry!
