I haven't written a boudoir blog since August! Geesh! One BIG reason was that around that time we decided to move our family and my business to Sioux Falls from Minneapolis. While it was a very scary proposition, I've been so overwhelmed by the blessings I've received in this business in this new area. Sioux Falls has been so wonderful to me, and my clients have been equally as wonderful by referring me up a storm! Starting in November I began renting a new portrait studio space downtown Sioux Falls, and have been having a great time with the results! Here are a few new images from the studio featuring the beautiful Nicole.
A note on her session that I wanted to highlight was her fun variety of outfits. Boudoir doesn't always have to be super lingerie based, you can use stuff you already have in your closet as well as items that cover you up a bit, to give a fun variety to your wardrobe for the shoot. Nicole chose a really gorgeous red jacket along with some fun bottoms to create a pop of pizzazz and color, a mens style dress shirt with a pretty bra and panties set, and then went va va va voom in a classic yet gorgeous black set. Her looks were completed with hair and make-up by Stephany Johnson and Whitney Lafrenz of Salon 75 in Luverne, MN. http://www.salon75.com
